where are the snows of yesteryear
that fell so soft and white
and children played and parents sang
and all the world was bright

* ****** **** ****** *

melting snow and drooping eyes
children love the holidays
then the party's over
still the stars bejewel the skies

* ****** **** ****** *

what's done is done when the sun goes down
but the sun will also rise
i live for that
to see the sun glow in your eyes

* ****** **** ****** *

disrepair is where i'm at
sliding in to end the race
beaten battered tired sore
unused would be the real disgrace

glad to see your poetry.
mykuworld has disappeared! Do you know what happened? I have checked back a couple of times and it comes up with an error message.
