flowers

flowers bronzed with blossoms of garnet
verdigis tinging the copper leaves
age will not wither nor summer's heat
repaying beauty's eternal debt

why do we see
value in patterns
random but somehow
repeating their lives

fractal equations
stored on a hillside
mirrored in clouds
call to our minds
( thanx Flower Garden thanx )

Lovely! A classic case of he who seeks, finds too. (We'll be disappointed, won't we, if in the end there is no pattern?)

patterns implanted
in the beginning
are easily seen
when the light is right

That Flower Garden is great, but it took me a while to figure out how to use it. Finally I got frustrated and starting clicking randomly on the screen ... "Knock, and it will be opened to you." Nice!

Hold the key down and sweep the mouse in an arc, and it will leave a trail of flowers. Or hold the key down and keep the mouse in one place and it will make a whole bouquet!

i wish it were so easy
to grow flowers in a garden
for all the blooms i've left to die
i ask sincerest pardon

It's great to hear from you! I'm glad you liked the flowers ... I sent that all over, myself.

i like to visit new york city
where flowers are like a coddled pet
it's hard to thrive in smog and darkness
but they aren't extinct there yet
