they always sound best
when i speak to the point
instead of reprinting old words

but still i remember
when old words were young
like the winds of a storm that i heard

and the winds of that storm
left me tired and worn
but smiling that

we only come to dream
we only come to pray
we only hope for the best of times
that when they come, they stay

and while we sit around and hope
i hope we all remember
to get out and run in the sun or the rain
and make our own times better!
